Recently, our CSR initiative, SPARK, had the privilege of visiting the Association for Mentally Handicapped Adults (AMHA) in Thaikattussery, Thrissur. This organization is dedicated to eliminating the stigma surrounding autism and the ridicule often faced by individuals with intellectual challenges. Through the use of Yoga, Music, and Theater as therapeutic tools, they aim to nurture a sense of purpose and well-being.
AMHA recently inaugurated a Neurorehab Centre and sensory park focused on equipping children with autism with essential life skills, such as environmental awareness, social behavior, classroom etiquette, and time management. The sensory park features Aqua therapy, Virtual Reality areas, and other therapeutic elements to support sensory development and well-being.
We are honored to contribute to this meaningful cause by funding the construction of the swimming pool for the Neurorehab Centre, which will be used for Aqua therapy. This initiative is a vital part of the rehabilitation program and will positively impact the lives of many individuals, helping them become active, integrated members of society.
